At first I was happy the elite and the best friends were going to have their own containment feud where the rest of the show didn't have to suffer through association with them but more than bring up the rest of the show it made me realise I only actually want to see MJF, Wardlow and Punk's segments at this point.
Talking about the awkward/bad parts of the show is still fun though.

I normally don't want to pile on to hate since they are new. But this just stood out for some reason. It look like when a sitcom tries to a sporting event. Someone on the WWE board posted and what I think most be deleted now complaining about their staredown and I didn't think much of it. I hate OC but that just me. But this popped up on my time line and it was just like the worst. I had to point out how just odd it looked .

Better than whatever bland, PG, and tame product WWE rolls out.

I think the problem with pro wrestling is a lot of the wrestlers now never grew up in an era of kayfabe. It was public that it was fake. So a portion of the kids who are now wrestlers never intended to have their matches look like fights. They are missing the psychology that strings it all together because they view it as theater.

It's one guy slamming another guy thru a table. In wrestling, the object is usually to damage your opponent to the point where you can pin your opponent's shoulders to the mat for a three count, or make him tap out to a submissive move.

Yea, that bump was not exciting, and the crowd was not into it at all.

The problem is he's a face. Because yeah, it could work great as a heel. Cuts corners, takes the easy way out, its just a paycheck to him. I mean the hands in the pockets is still bullshit, but he can actually work.

While I was typing this something popped in to my head. I think the people who love AWE, like the wink wink you know this is fake type of stuff. I remember on the first day of AWE OC was out there doing these soft kids on someone and then get beat up.

Compare to WWE fans who want to just watch a show and act like it is real. Not that believe it , but like you would watch any other TV show and suspend your disable for that hour .

I don't consider myself a wrestling fan, but tonight's show also featured this and I feel it's worth sharing

Every performer has a bump card. You can't have your workers doing stuff like that every week and expect them to have long healthy careers.

And again, the psychology. You do a spot like that when you hate the guy or have something to prove or are in utterly desperate circumstances.

Yall too worked about the courtesies of wrestling because thats just the way its been. Its like complaining about changes in baseball
