I wouldn't say it is inaccurate, but not completely accurate. Lived in Southern California my first 20 years and Missouri for 10 after that.

I'm from Detroit, Michigan, and I've never lived anywhere else. This quiz definitely doesn't match my surroundings.

It got pretty close to me, it gave me 3 cities in NY, it just wasn't mine.

some of these are tricky because i code switch sometimes, and sometimes when i code switch it's ironic, and sometimes when i ironically code switch enough it becomes sincere - like use of "y'all" and "trainers"

but all that aside, i'm quite surprised it's pinned me to louisiana since i only spent like five years there and led a pretty solitary life

Completely accurate. I'm from New Orleans. I think it's the only place in the US that refers to the median as a neutral ground.

I remember reading the original survey results this test is based on, back in 2013. There are a lot of questions, around 50 iirc.
