The woke college crowd does it the most. I guess they see it as some kind of movement they can idolize without actually having to experience it.

I love those youtune vids where people who suffered under communism talk to them and tell them how much it sucked. They usually try to flee and say they refuse to talk to them about it.

Or when people pick out their jobs "post revolution" and they all say they will work for the "party" and run supply trains and shit. Its batty.

Some are true believers in communism. Some just take being critical of capitalism too far and "side" with communist countries in a contrarian sense because they see it as the antitheses to the capitalist imperialism they so hate. Some just do it to troll.

They're all doing it to troll. No rational person would look at what Stalin and Mao did to their people and think that's something we should emulate.

Must be old videos. The new thing to do is pretend those fleeing communism were AWCKSHULLY the ruling class. Because you know Cuba, Vietnam, and Venezuela had millions of ruling class people lol

I think a lot of them believe that the historical atrocities and whatnot are either straight up fabrication or at worst simply overblown accounts. Or that capitalism is a greater evil but the atrocities it commits aren't as well-defined, like not counting things like civilian deaths during wars as a direct result of capitalism.

Life is like a pendulum. Once people get sick of one extreme, they jump all the way over to the other.

While they are praising them for being such great 'communists' you should ask them to point out all the times the workers actually owned the means of production.
