And despite not needing to factor in proctors or people to go over the tests physically, the price will only ever go up.

I never even thought about why it was still in-person, even before the pandemic.

Pointless for profit test that lets you go into massive debt for a degree that is 9/10 useless to your actual future plans.

There's some program stuff in it that basically checks if you use another program during the test, like Google Chrome. But if you have a cheat sheet of equations? Yeah, that's basically a freebie.

Who takes the SAT anymore? My son took it, but none of the schools he applied to accepted scores, even on a voluntary basis.

The Perfect Score is dumb

In Canada all they care about is your best 6 gr 12 credits

My alma mater stopped accepting the SAT a few years back.

I remember when I took it, it was such a big deal I couldn't sleep the night before.

Im not surprised by that, the graduate school standardized tests and also teacher certification tests are done online. They make you lock your phone and other stuff away and then take you to a monitored room to do the test. But filling out the bubbles is so dumb and should have been abandoned ASAP
