I'm off to a good start.

So far I've finished.

Ys lX: Monstrum Nox (PS4)
Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS4)
Dead Space (PS3)

Currently playing.

Ys: Ark of Napishtim (PS2)
Brutal Legend (PS3)
Star Ocean - First Departure R (PS4)

All 6 are games from my backlog that I've never finished before.

I played Dark Souls PTDE a few weeks ago for about an hour and a half, forgot where Big Hat Logan's key was, died and didn't want to do the Sen's Fortress skip again, recalled the repercussions of not choosing the master key, forgot what kind of run I was planning to do in the first place and now I guess I'll leave it a while because there's news about how Dark Souls games are now all full of freakish online exploits.

I'd be down for something new, ideally something Xenoblade 1-like but I can't come up with anything.

Both are good but I liked Vlll more.

I'd still highly recommend lX though. The Monstrum gifts that you get definitely make exploring a lot more fun even though I liked the setting of Vlll more.

Been hard at work trying to get through Tales of Arise. On the side I've been keeping up with Forza Horizon 5 and playing timekillers on Switch: Mario 3D World again, 51 Clubhouse Games, Monkey Ball...

Terrible for completing anything.
All I keep playing is L4D2 (PC) almost every day or replaying Re2remake for HC speed runs.

I finished Tales of Arise a few months back. I loved it at first but it definitely felt like a chore to get though by the end.

I haven't gamed in five years.

Great, but all over the place. I got a Series S for Christmas, and I've just been going back and forth between countless random Game Pass games.

Started playing EDF 5 again. Trying to go through on online mode after making the mistake of playing offline mode.

Finished Returnal (masterpiece of design)

Played through Kena (underwhelmed as too year 2000)

Played the first half of Shin Megami Tensi V, and I just can't handle turn based RPGs anymore :(

Too boring and expensive.

I havent played anything this year other than random games on the NES Emulator I have on my PC.

Finished off Death Stranding and Resident Evil Village and getting near the end of Link's Awakening.
Started Returnal and AI The Somnium Files earlier this week.

Playing Hot Wheels Unleashed off and on as well.

I havent finished anything. Dragon Quest XI is finally starting to get fun though

26. I felt bad about how I kept procrastinating on playing it so Ive been playing it pretty much all weekend long. I just got the 6th orb. The beginning of the game was kind of dull but it got more fun as I kept going

I beat Halo Infinite and Titanfall 2 earlier this month. I recently prestiged on CoD: Vanguard and it was the first CoD that I have ever prestiged in.

I am working on beating Horizon Zero Dawn right now.

Most likely gonna get God of War when it is on sale.

Horizon Zero Dawn is still in my backlog and I hope to play it through this year.

I've finished God of War and it was great. Really looking forward to the next one.

Understandable. I try to play the DQ series like a slow burn animated treat to take in (outside that maniac battle music) and tend to enjoy it more so compared to other jrpg/turn based titles.

It is a long game however and hope it retains its charm for you as it can feel a little grindy at certain points.

I work full time, sometimes as much as 50 hours. I get more out of browsing the web and TV.

Anyone play Nioh 2?

I just beat the giant snake and I think I did it wrong. I couldn't figure out how to do criticals. So, I just ran around waiting him out in his tougher form and then Id just chip away at his health the whole time. Took me like 15+ minutes in the fight I actually won lol

I finished A Plague Tale Innocence. I'm almost finished with Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and I'm starting Mortal Shell and maybe Kena Bridge of Spirits soon.

I beat Dead Cells on 3BC and that's it. I find it tough to actually complete games anymore. Other than that I've just been playing Ocarina of Time randomized and Vermintide 2 mostly.

I beat Dead Cells 5bc spoiler boss on normal mode for the first time (and then did it again) so pretty good.

Final Fantasy XIV: Trying to PUG the new savage tier during peak degen hours with a few FC mates, stuck on P2S and slowly losing my fucking mind because randoms are Garbo.

Animal Crossing: Trying to play it more to help my mental health, dabbling in the DLC. Hoping to get back to playing it like 15-45min a day and eventually finish my island

Shin Megami Tensei V: Only 2 hours in, hopefully gonna beat it before Elden Ring comes out.

Still need to go back and beat Sekiro but fuck those last 3 bosses

Finally opened up doom eternal that I've had laying around for like half a year.

Shocked that after 2016 I made my own headcanon that the slayer was doomguy qnd just got made stronger either through the sentinels or something he found in hell.

When they showed he had black hair I felt that was confirmation he wasn't but then they show my headcanon was correct

keeeping up with dailies in TF2,OW, and Valorant + playing Hlaf Life 2 for real for real.

I've...played some WoW and that's it lol.

I've beaten Pokemon Shining Pearl and beat Super Mario World and got all the exits (from Nintendo Switch Online; I've beaten it before on the Wii U but never got all the exits).

Still playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons (which I have since it came out) and Ring Fit Adventure (nearing the end of NG++, still need one more clothing top to finish all the catalogs and then I'll beat the game for the third time and probably take a break from it). I'm also playing the new Overwatch event that started, Pikmin 3 Deluxe (doing Mission modes right now) and Banjo-Kazooie (from Nintendo Switch Online, never played it before). I'll also be starting Pokemon Legends: Arceus on Friday.
