Do you guys think well ever have something as cool as the MG: Rex and MG: Ray fight ever again?

Rex is better anime shit.

Rex vs Ray was truly amazing. It spanned more than 3 generations of gaming in the making, and put players back in the cockpit of a giant lumbering mech for the first time since MechWarrior for many of them. I find it a little hard to imagine an event quite as amazing as that.

True dat playa, I think someone could play the series today for the first time and still get that same excitement veterans of the series did if they end up liking the games. The whole momentum of the series when MGS4 came out was pretty exciting too.. definitely one of those you had to be there moments for gaming.. maybe for GameFAQS too considering how hype the MGS4 boards were those days

I remember I skipped school just to go get MGS4 lol
