i been using knipex cos i got a couple of them free from my previous job

but apparently they arent the best for models cos the tend to crush the runners rather than cut?
so i just bought a hobby cutter

single blade cutter promo orange cat x dspiae version. thought it would go well with this kit.

lots of good reviews for this dspiae brand. they dont seen to slap on a brand logo tax.

Any decent nippers will work. When I was first starting out I got one of those little kits that came with nippers, tweezers, files, etc. It was cheap, but they still work fine enough. Later I went ahead and got some of those God Hands. Probably over payed for them, but they're pretty dang good. Much cleaner cuts.
