17 y/o Anthony Reyes Jr from California committed suicide just 4 MONTHS after his 46 y/o FATHER died of COVID-19 and he blamed HIMSELF for giving it to his family after he asked them if he could attend a high school pep rally and brought it back home!!

The Reyes family were also UNVACCINATED because they were concerned with the various medical conditions and possible side effects and didn't want to risk having it in their bodies..

In August 2021, the family of 5, mom Stephanie, dad Anthony Sr and 3 teen kids were full of hope and a bright future as they prepared to move into their new home in Whittier and felt the virus was COMING DOWN so they accepted the offer of their son to go to the pep rally

But the Los Angeles family were struck with 2 tragedies in 4 months after Anthony Sr succumbed to the virus after being diagnosed in September and now his 17 y/o Son took his own life leaving the grieving mother enduring 2 losses in a short time.

She said Anthony was full of guilt and blamed himself after he was traumatized by being the last person to see his dad in hospital before his death

The 37 y/o mother who is now left to raising her 2 daughters Reyna and Marissa on her own and doesn't know how she can move on.

She said her son felt responsible for his father's covid diganosis because he invited them to a pep rally at shcool where it was a superspreader and the whole family caught the virus

Anthony Jr struggled with depression and last year he already described how the pandemic took a heavy toll on his mental state because he couldn't see his friends or girlfriend because of quarantine

Anthony Reyes Sr was working at a power plant when he came down the virus in late August a few days after the pep rally. He also had a pre-existing heart condition and was on a ventilator before his death

He died on Sept 11 and she made the fateful decision to allow her son ot see him one last time to say goodbye against her better judgement and now she believes it was the worst mistake she ever did

Anthony Jr was said to have been haunted to see his dying father in his hospital bed with blood pooled in the corner of his eye

She tried to tell him it wasn't his fault that this happened and they all made the decision to go. She even tried to get him professional help for her son but his depression got worse

A few days after Christmas, she went into her son's room and saw his lights were still on at 4am and knocked on his door asking "Hey, kid it's 4 in the morning, what are you doing?" It was then she saw her son had killed himself as she cried out in horror.

Stephanie is now speaking out publicly on the dangers of depression and to not let this go unnoticed when there are signs of trouble before it's too late
