Chilling in Vegas for 2 days while my g/f is working at a convention here. Gonna be on my own during the day and looking for some cool stuff to do. Preferably a place where drinks don't cost $16 for a Vodka Cranberry lol

My man, believe me if I was here 5 years ago this trip would be a lot different hahaha I bet the strip clubs are ridiculously expensive here though

I got you.

Best bar is The Stage Door, just off the strip. Cheap as shit and nice looking bartenders.

Other option is Ocean Club in Miracle Mile shops, drinks are 3 for 1 all day.

Hell yeah, I'm like 5 minutes away from Stage Door right now and Ocean Club will be next on the list. CE is the best!

Starboard Tack is a cool dive not too far off the strip that has bomb food and cheap drinks. Crowd is like 25-35 age range. If you want a good steak hit up Herbs and Rye. If you want good eastern European food hit up Forte.

The best place in Las Vegas is the airport, because from there you can leave Las Vegas.

Honestly, just go off strip. Youre gonna get nickel and dimed on the strip. Ive been wanting to check out this video game bar off Maryland parkway. If you want to get raunchy. Theres this corner bar across the street from the rear of Ballys. They had like dollar PBRs.

If it's your first time in Vegas, you can easily spend two days just straight up walking the strip and poking your head into anywhere that looks interesting, gambling when you want, eating what you want, etc.

There are definitely some cool things to do off-strip too, not sure if you have a car or not but the cost of an uber or rental car will sometimes match the strip prices of things, so it's sometimes a wash.

Where are you staying?

Staying at the MGM. Pretty much all I did yesterday was drinking and walking around looking at the stuff. That Ocean Club place with the 3 for $10 drinks was the best deal I found. They were pouring heavy lol

Probably gonna do some blackjack and maybe slots today.

If you want a cheap breakfast theres a Mexican place across from Blondies sports bar that has a $5.95 breakfast deal.

Ocean Club is the best deal by far I found.

Do that in some of the other big hotels as well. The Venetian has a wild shopping/restaurant area with a sky painted ceiling.

Also if you like pinball, there's the Pinball Hall of Fame. I got nearly 3 hours of enjoyment there on $15 worth of quarters.

Meow Wolf is definitely on the list of things to do tonight. Already hit up Planet 13 which claims to be the largest dispensary in the nation haha

It does as of two months ago, I ate there for the first time. It really is delicious and modestly cheap as far as vegas strip prices are concerned.

How is your room / what kind of room are you in? I like to jump around properties and I've never actually stayed there before and have barely even set foot in the resort, but I've got some good offers from them.

I got lost in that place for like 2 fucking hours. The painted ceiling and the angled halls are disorienting af. There's several signs that say exit and then send you to a three way split with no sign to point you out. On the plus side, every time I've been in there they always have some cool art.

Yeah that disorienting feeling is what makes it really cool. I also had trouble finding my way out but I thought it was only because of the free drinks at the vendor party I was at.

I'm actually at MGM Park and not MGM Grand like I thought. The room is fine but nothing special. Our window looks right out at T-Mobile Arena where the NHL team plays and they blast music 24/7. Tough to take a nap to recharge during the day lol. My gfs work paid for the room while she's working a convention here so no complaints from me.

I'm at the Venetian right now and I'm so lost I can't even find the area with the sky ceiling and the canals.

My wife and I stayed at the Venetian last time we went. It's a fun place and great for people watching.

Gotcha. I loved Park for its modest pricing + tram access to bellagio. But yeah the music from the actual park/arena area is tough, definitely need earplugs if you're trying to sleep before midnight. I faced the arena too last time I was there.

Other than that, it's an A+ property for the price.
