If I'm going with something that clunky and heavy I want an FAL or G3 and if I'm going to be carrying it all day I'd rather have something like an 11.5" AR platform. Modern AKs, the AK105 etc, in 5.45x39, with their modularity and modern optic mounting options, are pretty nice, but they are still a tad heavier than what you could do in an AR or MCX platform, and in most conditions are going to be just as reliable. --- p226 <cite>yemmy posted [p:961909816] in Can you st...
