Apparently I will have to do da testing...how far up da nose do i need to stick da swab? Will it hurt? I remember it hurting like a bitch when i got da flu but maybe she did it to aggressive?

For dose who have self tested, did it hurt or feel hella uncomfortable?

Don't psyche yourself out, it isn't that bad. It does depend on who's giving the test, some people are more gentile than others. But even if the giver is rough, the pain doesn't last too long.

The stick should come out the top of your forehead if you did it right

i'm watching videos on youtube about drive thru tests, and i see some aren't pushing it up to da brain. Dey are being instructed to just rotate it barely inside your nose so dats good. I'm a lil relieved not gonna lie, but tbh i'm prepared for anything

You might have some better luck swabbing inside while rotating the q-tip thing itself like youre making cotton candy, just get in the crevices right before the back hole and put it where it needs to go and drop the solution wherever it tells you to

I did it until I felt pressure then rotated it. They said rotating it was more important than sticking it in deep

I do home LFT's weekly, the swabs are short and you don't shove it up far, the instructions say about 2.5cm but it shouldn't hurt, I dunno about testing sites though

i got one and you didn't have to go far up your nose like the one i got at the urgent care that hurt.

the drive through self one was just like a qtip thing and similar to the home tests. just stick it in and swab it around a bit in both sides and stick it in the tube. real simple. just tell them you never got a self test before and they'll explain what to do. but none of the home tests i done even make you stick it far up your nose.

My aunt and cousin got it. I don't know what they use to do, but apparently is not that far up at all.
