It's already a clustetfuck in Phoenix. Now this. Fuck.

Nobody wants to take piss tests. They are like the most anti-marijuana group youre going to find. They faced backlash for it and their response was to double down and make it to where failing one weed test (because thats all drug tests are) means they will put your name on a blacklist where you can never work as a trucker again.

Its time to move into the 21st century.

we don't test for weed in nevada for pre employment. aside from a handful of jobs. i think we're the only state that doesn't look for weed.

Especially since weed is legalized in some form in the majority of the country.

Over the Road Racing prepared me for this.

Time Warner Cable used to train 18-year-olds by sticking them in broken down vans and making them drive 3 hours to another city for training.

Its also a fact that a failed drug test doesnt mean that you were inebriated at work. Until they can make a test to tell if you wake and baked, then they shouldnt have a right to test for it. All the serious drugs leave your system so fast that these constant drug tests are hard to view as anything other than weed tests.

Honestly if you're on the road driving ten thousand tons of steel going 70 miles per hour I wouldnt want you using weed either.

Coke is out in 24 hours. Meth, 3 days. Heroin, a week. Weed? 2 weeks for one time use, 30-45 days for regular use.

Truck drivers get weeks off all the time, should they not be allowed to use it on their week off, but not any time while during his work week?

This is sort of meh. New York is the only state that holds to the federal requirement, so 18 year olds are already basically allowed to drive them in-state already.
