Current Events > Pretty sure my previous employer is trying to screw me.

Basic timeline of events. FYI, my previous employer distributed checks on the 1st and 16th:

- Got a new job. Notified my supervisor a week in advance that my last day would be the 31st
- Employer didn't pay out until January 3rd. I'm assuming because it was a holiday followed by a weekend, but they pretty much left everybody in the dark about when paychecks would actually go out since everyone was expecting it on the previous Thursday

- January 3rd paycheck was short, presumably because they didn't factor in 3 days of PTO I used before they were set to expire. Emailed HR and let them know about it and they sent out another check on the 5th. They use an entirely different system for PTO than they use for payroll so I'm assuming that's where the issue lies

- Now I'm missing my last paycheck for the 29th, 30th and holiday pay for the 31st. I've been emailing HR all morning to get my last 3 days of pay. They JUST responded back saying I've already been paid for those days based off of the paycheck I received on the 5th (which, even in the pay statement, is listed as for the previous pay period). So either way I'm missing either 3 days of PTO on my previous check, or 2 days of actual wages for work performed + holiday pay.

I just emailed them back and sent a screenshot of my previous conversation with HR where they themselves told me I received my PTO money in my check for the 5th. I just want my fucking money.
