Board 8 > Serious plot hole in GTA: Vice City's story.

In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the plot of the game immediately starts out where you control Tommy Vercetti and the radio turns on atomically, with the following message.

"We interrupt this program to bring you news on Hurricane Hermine that's devastated five Caribbean islands and is heading straight for Vice City. More updates soon."

This plot device, where the hurricane is heading straight towards you, is never mentioned again for the reminder of the story. Weird.

How is that a plot hole

Mentioned very beginning in-game..and they proceed to do nothing with this in mind. :/

It's not a plot hole it's how you build an invisible wall with the plot

but everything is atoms

Not only is this not a plot hole, but if you look at the Vice City code, the weather patterns change mid-game once you've unlocked the western part of the map. Granted, there's no actual hurricane, but perhaps the hurricane changed path before it could hit Vice City.
