Decided to play comp after not playing for months. Did death match for warmup and felt pretty good about my aim so decided to play comp.

ran into a Smurf on the other team that just shit on us. He went 30-5. Lost every gunfight against him but I was able to kill his teammates. Game is unplayable for newbies lol.

a more experienced and higher ranked player making a new account so they can match with people much worse than them. Usually to boost their k/d or because they have more fun shitting on people

just play unranked

im plat 2 in siege I dont make a new account to play with my friends in silver. I tell them Ill play unranked with them or they just need to git gud

Valorant ranked went through a hard reset last week. Lots of high ranked players are playing in matches with lower skills players and vice versa. They also introduced a minimum account level requirement to play ranked now.
