Personally I'd rather not take any chances with Nazis but I guess you could give them the benefit of the doubt in the short term.

And this is why smarter people than you are in charge. Nazis can 100% change, have repeatedly, and can be functioning members of society.

You're arguing that Brevik gets special treatment, ignoring both the fact that it would give him EXACTLY what he wants, and the fact that such a change would ruin the integrity of their entire system, which is easily the best in the world.

Oh I agree wholeheartedly that they don't deserve it but given the context of the situation (redemptive prison) I can at least see giving them the benefit of the doubt in the short term. Basically playing along so you can inevitably say "well we tried and shocker, we got the exact result everybody expected"

The amount of sympathizers here are shit posting or trolling, and even I am amazed at this warped dedication.

It's not like Norway is ever going to actually release the guy. Even countries with the most lenient justice systems like Norway would never release such an egregious criminal like him. He shouldn't be executed because the state should never execute people (with possible certain exceptions for national security reasons) not because he doesn't deserve it.

I support the justice system in Norway and wish we followed their example...with the caveat that anyone who does mass murder, IE 4 or more people intentionally/is caught literally shooting people indiscriminately doing it, should be in prison indefinitely without parole. This is ridiculous.

Anti-death penalty people sure like flip flopping.

Which wouldn't change anything for this case. Brevik will be in prison for life either way. So you want Norway to sacrifice their integrity for absolutely no reason.

I like how every prison reform/anti-death penalty eventually gets to accusing people of sympathizing with murders/rapists.
