Why the fuck wouldn't he just get vaxxed to WIN?

Accepting the fact that he's anti-vax, I just find it so hard to swallow that he wouldn't put aside this particular principle to attain the most important sporting milestone in all of tennis history and cement his legacy as arguably the greatest player of all time.

Like when any elite athlete gets busted for taking PEDs, I'm never surprised. Of fucking course they would, they're wired that way. Anything to win. Anything to get 1% ahead of the competition.

And then you get this guy who just has to do one small thing that would allow him to basically become the most legendary player of all time in his sport, and...he doesn't? And he won't in future?

I find that more bizarre than anything. Like damn, the anti-vax sentiment is somehow stronger than his desire to be the GOAT.

Fully expect Aaron Rodgers to do the same exact thing if GB gets to the superbowl.

The whole thing was blown up into a massive PR mess. What you say is 100% rational, but when you're someone with his status it's not about vaccine or not, it's about thinking you can get away with anything because of who you are, and proving it to the world. Fucking pathetic if you ask me.

Australia originally let him into the country because he lied on his travel documents about being medically exempt and not traveling recently. When they found out he falsified documents, that's when it turned into a mess.
