Since employers can no longer enforce vaccine mandates, will hospitals re-hire anti-vax nurses that got let go? I mean whats the big deal now? Hospitals are hurting for help. The CDC has even said you can go back to work after 5 days as long as you wear a mask, even if you still test positive. Also can these same nurses sue the hospital for wrongful termination?

They upheld the one on healthcare workers at places that accept stuff like Medicare. So probably not.

Um the federal government just mandated that health care workers be vaccinated.

Also it was just for private employers. I don't think hospitals were included.

i think those could apply for exemptions since most states have exemptions for medical or ethical/personal/religious reasons

I mean, just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Given that being against vaccinations is completely antithetical to being a (good) healthcare worker, they should remain shut out from that profession.
