This is going to be a gross story but Ive seen worse on here (like time to make soup, but I have been making it!)

Woke up at 4 am with pain coming and going from my colon and strange stomach sounds) After a few minutes I finally went to toilet and had a massive splashdown, although it seemed more solid then liquid. Went back to bed but before I could fall asleep the pain came back and it was back to the toilet.

Finally went to sleep around 5 and woke up around 9 with no issues. Had a protein shake and that turned out to be a bad idea because 30 minutes later it was back to the toilet and this time it felt more like soup.

Once my stomach settled down I went out for a bit to find some pepto. Got some 7-11 brand but it tasted like garbage so I went to the grocery down the street and all they had were the pepto pills which do nothing for me.

3 stores later I finally found some pepto and got 2 bottles and drank half of one ( yes, I drink pepto from the bottle) along with a bottled water and a protein bar. When I went back home my stomach was feeling better but was making a few strange sounds. Went to parents house for dinner and still no issues..

And then I came home and had to floor it to the toilet because it came out of nowhere.

So Im wondering, is this food poisoning or covid related? I read the squirts can be a symptom of covid, however, I realized earlier that I had several store brand cookies to eat the night before and that they had been sitting idle on my counter for several days.

Sounds like some mild food poisoning in my non-professional opinion.
