The writing has been bad and the music adds to the cringe. I cant help but notice every time Harcort is on the screen her obvious nose job and lip Botox. I do enjoy some interactions with Peacemaker, but then his interactions with women and love of unpopular hair metal is off putting at times. I might enjoy it more if the episodes were cut in half because I cant turn my brain off and be entertained when every character is written as awkward or cringey. Even the cops and task force is written as slightly incompetent and obnoxious.

The eagle is cute and I think is a highlight.

Im only on episode 2 right now.

It's a really weird character to give their own show tbh. I'm not really surprised it's off-putting

I enjoyed Suicide Squad and the Peacemaker character in the movie. Its like the writers took the popularity from SS and wrote this show amping the characters to a 10. The most annoying characters when on screen are Economos with his constant name calling and incel personality and Leota with her constant awkward interactions with everyone. If everyone just calmed down their personalitys a little this wouldnt be a bad show to me.

8.4 on IMDb so Im going to go out on a limb and say nah with this one.

I get more Deadpool vibes from the movie and this show...

I like the show but do agree they amped up the type of humor/characterization a bit. It may just not be for you, which is cool. We all have our limits.

Ngl I really enjoyed the show last night. Never laughed hard for a long time from a TV show.

I gotta admit... there are some scenes where it's WAY over the top. I legit did not expect to see..... ummm spoilers btw...

Still trying to decide. It is quite funny, but it seems dragged out for the first 3 episodes, and the writing is sloppy, and the characters are over the top, unrealistic and unlikable. I actually like Peacemaker the most, as he has a cluelessness about his douchebaggery. That intro dance sure is awesome though.

Honestly Im really confused by that rating. I thought episode 3 was a bit better though. They still need turn everything down a bit. Even though Judomaster did make me laugh during every scene he was in.

I misread this as Peacewalker and came in to tell you to shut the fuck up it's one of the best MGS games.

After reading the topic I realize you're talking about the DC show.

Shut the fuck up, it's one of the best things to come out of DC's cinematic dumpster fires.

The show is hilarious and its perfect timing for me to watch it after binging Station Eleven, which was amazing but very emotional.

That's par for the course for James Gunn. Worked at Troma and it shows in all of his work. From Scooby Doo 2002 to current year.

I have only seen the ads but it seems like its meant to be a comedy and not taken seriously

Just watched it over at my brother's house. He knows I detest Marvel/DC/superhero shit, but I'm totally coming around when he put on The Boys. I wasn't expecting much, but I was hooked. lol
