Lol what happened? I'm so confused. The ref was in a rush to get downfield. I don't have a DVR so I'm just wondering...did they place the ball at the wrong spot before he started running downfield or was he already running toward them before they placed the ball?? ... Copied to Clipboard!

Cowboys made a ridiculously stupid play call with 14 seconds left on the clock. You're not getting that ball snapped in time 9 times out of 10. Everybody knows this. Even the commentators for one of the games literally yesterday made a comment about exactly that scenario. There was 15 seconds left and one of them asked about running the ball, and the other responded by saying with 15 seconds remaining, you're probably not getting the ball spiked in time. It's at the absolute minimum and a huge risk. Any less and it's basically impossible. Not to mention Dak tried to get a couple more yards after gaining the first down instead of dropping immediately. Probably burned an extra second for no reason. And that may have made the difference.
