We get 12 years of pubic school free but if you suggest 4 years of school where it determines how you can contribute to society, no no no no that can't be free that's that damned Chinese communism!!! As much as the student loan system is flawed how does one go from $33K in debt to $80K with interest rates at about 3.73%? If the student made zero payments, it would take 24-25 years of compound interest to reach $80,000.
