and whomst does it by ordering a sausage and egg mcmuffin without sausage.

you'd think at that point they'd try to confirm the order. lucky i always check the receipt and the order before i go.

If you don't want the meat you have to order one with meat and ask for it to be removed. There's no option for a "plain" Egg McMuffin.

For some reason this reminds me of that dumb prank call to pizza places where you order a supreme/deluxe pizza, ya know the one that's loaded with every topping, then one-by-one you tell them to hold every topping until you're left with a plain cheese pizza....if you're lucky they'll stay on the line long enough for you to tell them to hold the cheese, hold the sauce, and hold the crust on the pie as well. good times

Don't they have a "buy two sausage egg mcmuffins for $4" which might make it cheaper that way?

They keep it on the menu to claim their breakfast is cheaper and low calorie

If I'm dieting and I'm in a rush, I'll order a plain mcmuffin, put some hot sauce on it. Maybe put the hash brown in the mcmuffin.

I ordered a "chicken mcgridle" today and the fuckin thing didn't even have an egg. Just 2 syrup-soaked buns with a junior chicken patty.

I heard americans dont have mcgriddles? Its basically a mcmuffin except the buns are doused in maple syrup
