yeah, but they could work around it. they've already established the advancements in medical tech. it shouldn't be too hard to convince people that 30 somethings are now 50 somethings with a little aging makeup and a few lines of dialog.

I'm happy with how the finale turned out. I can't wait for the complete book set with the novellas.

I feel optimistic that this isn't the end of the show. Maybe they'll come back in a couple years or maybe they make a film. Who knows.

I agree that they can do 7-9 without doing a full 30 year skip. They could pull off 10 years without needing to recast or sink a ton of money into makeup.

Not sure how anyone can like that finale. Got GoT feelings from how rushed it was.

There was literally no point at all with that kid coming back alive again like what was the point? It just takes time from other things.

Also how they managed to kill iniarios was just badly done.

they're adapting novels. in that goal, it was an excellent finale. but they started in on the next story and then (apparently) keep going with it. what you are complaining about is foreshadowing, which got fucked over by the suits. either they found out about the cancellation too late to adapt to it, or they kept it in as a ploy to undo the decision.

as for marco, i was curious how show only peeps would like that conclusion. i didn't really like it when as was reading, but it eventually grew on me. in a "you can make plans within plans within plans, but you never know everything." kind of way. they should have threaded the build up to it a little more throughout the season, though, imo. it came off kinda sudden here.

Yeah, this side plot went nowhere for someone who hasn't read the books. It added absolutely nothing to the main story and didn't have a conclusion, or even an explanation...waste of time for six episodes--should've used it developing the main plot more...
