I don't remember which school of Satanism this is. However, most Satanism is just a philosophy about living your life for the now, but is also about doing no harm to others in pursuit of your own happiness.

Yeah this isn't Satanism, it's the Satanic Temple. Big difference. The former is an actual philosophy and way of life that a lot of selfish people have. The latter pretends to worship Satan and they do a lot of good with this sort of thing, challenging egregious breaches of the separation of church and state.

It's hard to sympathize with someone's right to religious inclusion when their "religion" is a tongue-in-cheek middle finger to someone else's religion.

Still, fair is fair. I would not try and block them. If people want ritualistic antitheism, that is their right.

How is Satanism the philosophy for selfish people? Real question. I am not a Satanist but I agree with a lot of their tenets on a cursory read.

Multiple Satanic organizations, Anton LaVey and the CoS included, say that publicly but privately actually worship Satan. Michael Ford explicitly says this is his Luciferian writings, present the philosophy to normies first and let them discover the demon worship part on their own.

The Satanic Temple lost credibility when someone on Twitter pointed out that not being vegan contradicted nearly every one of their tenets and they went on a blocking spree, contradicting the remaining ones.

Anton LaVey was very heavily influenced by Ayn Rand. Most people associate LaVey's Church of Satan (which isn't really very active anymore from what I can tell) with Satanism as a whole. The Satanic Temple is more... activism through trolling, but they serve a pretty positive purpose in what they do. The tenets you're referring to come from that group.

TST are a mockery of Satanism, they co-opted the name for political purposes. A real Satanist would fire back that life feeds on life, and to do otherwise is death. Humanity are a predatory animal, and to try to sanitize our nature is delusional and dangerous, for those predatory urges will always find ways to manifest themselves, they are as unblockable as our sex drives.

It's about putting yourself first, but to an extreme level/ Only helping others for the good it does you

The ASSC states it will be self-led, with students choosing to read books, engage in coloring or socialize with their peers. They say that Satan will not be a topic of discussion.

We've been sanitizing human nature since the beginning of civilization, so no "real Satanist" actually lives their life in accordance with all of that drivel, either, unless we're talking about the cringe lords who are legitimate sociopaths.
