Never heard of them before today. What's the big deal about them? Besides a fuckton of gas pumps.

Clean af bathrooms and good food. Its a Texas thing. Overpriced tho

I have heard of it from random youtube videos. Seems whatever.

Usually see them on long stretches of highway in Texas boasting large and clean bathrooms and tons of gas pumps (a lovely sight when driving 4 hrs and 2 Buc-ees on the way.

Also large selection of foods. Meat and big cheese block packs, tons of diced fruit, honey roasted sweet nuts, and really good BBQ sandwiches.
Plus other hot foods inferior to the sandwiches.
And a large selection of jerky if you want I guess.

Geez it's pretty much a Walmart sized gas station. Damn.

The bbq is way overrated. Very very average. The cinnamon sugar pecans are top notch though.

I do like knowing they'll have a clean restroom and no wait for a gas pump. They have a side of the store that is home decor, clothes, stuffed animals and such. I usually like to go through and see what all they have new in that area.

The gas pumps thing seems a bit overkill to me given that there's already at least one Kum & Go every 2 or 3 blocks

Are their gas prices good or something? There is a Sams Club and Costco nearby both competing with gas prices so much that no one really even uses other places. Seems like a foolish time to open up a giant something no one uses.

Buc-ees isn't the type of place where people just fill up and leave. I don't think anyone has never at least walked inside to check out what they have. Good kolaches, bbq is decent enough (for a gas station), huge selection of store brand snacks that are good, and the bathrooms are huge and incredibly clean.

Missouri is Quiktrip country. So aside from the novelty of Buc-ees size, it is nothing Springfield doesn't already have.

Since I guess this is the Springfield topic, I just noticed that the City Council voted to approve the new flag design. That's good to know, because the old flag was, uh, not great.

Buc-ees has really good food, especially for a gas station.

Expensive though

The Wal Mart of gas stations. Seems fitting that Texas and other southern states find this interesting lol.

If we are talking about Springfield I'll just say that Springfield Brewing Company might serve some of the greatest Mac and Cheese I have ever had.
