I can barely tolerate paying normal prices for food you could get delivered, cannot imagine paying double or more to get the same shit delivered.

They have been pretty pricey since some states put in a law that shareapp employees be recognized as full-time employees. Food is double the price and there's a delivery fee, service fee, state driver fee, and tip. I only order delivery if there's a really good deal or I am too tired to drive out to get food myself.

As of pretty recently, like the past two weeks, at least once daily. Had 3 back to back colds and really didn't feel like getting up and cooking, but that was my laziness.

Only in hotels, so maybe once or twice a year.

Yeah, I recently developed a bit of a pricey habit of ordering stuff from UberEats and DoorDash to my work for lunch (I work retail so there's only two fast food places within walking distance of our store and that shit gets old).

I just don't even think about the price. I just know whenever I'm going to use one of those apps I'm gonna take a sizeable dent in the wallet.

If I can score a free trial of their premium service, I'll get it and order maybe once a week for the duration. I have one right now that's gonna run out in a few days. I'll probably order something the last day and then not use it until I can get another free trial.

The passive income these companies get from people paying for the premium service but never using it can be a real drain on your bank account. You might think it's not a lot, but it adds up.

Also, just from my general experience: it's a total crapshoot as to whether or not it'll be a pleasant transaction. I have left 50% tips before and gotten ice cold food an hour after the estimate delivery. I've tipped 20% and gotten it within 30 minutes, still hot.

Grub hub would send me $7 off $15 coupons a couple times a month. Id choose pickup so Id avoid fees. If you got grubhub plus they give you a credit for your next pickup order. Door dash does the same thing.

Hell no, I go and get my own damn food.

Yes, despite the fact I fucking hate them and the order is ALWAYS missing something (whether it's their fault or the restaurants), but I don't drive and my mom refuses to leave the house so I guess we're fucking stuck

Driving sucks, I have no confidence in myself to not fuck up and kill myself in an accident.

Idunno if your area makes it untenable, but if you make an account and leave it alone for a while, they'll drop a promo code for like 25$ off your first order.

I used to several times a week, but then I was starting to get fat so I had to delete the app and cancel my membership.

I'd get home from work and be too tired to put any actual effort into feeding myself.

I used to but the prices have increased so much since I first used it (Uber Eats). I just pick up my food now if im getting takeout.

My wife's job sometimes has virtual events, and they give everyone grubhub funds to pay for meals during it. That's the only time we use any delivery app, when it's paid for us.

Never have. I've delivered for all of those though.

I do convenient pick up orders on them so I don't have to enter my credit card on every single individual business' websites

I don't do delivery cause I don't want to pay more fees
