IE the Republicans are shouting from the rooftops, "How we can trust the science when it keeps changing." Garbage argument at the time, Covid was a relatively new experience/virus, time is needed to compile data and as that occurs we take the appropriate measure as dictated by the science. Incremental improvement should be both the expectation and the reality. And it was.

But now with the CDC absolutely shitting the bed and shortening the isolation to 5 days in the face of evidence saying that's not a good long term idea, and providing no evidence supporting it you've provided them with validation to their paranoia. Somehow, they've(CDC) taken a completely inane argument and validated it in the most absurd manner possible. They've damaged public trust in quite literally the most important government body that's needs public trust at this time. When people are consistently and constantly experiencing anecdotal evidence to the contrary of the 5 day isolation time that makes it even worse.

It's honestly unfathomable to me at this point. It's like no matter how outlandish the Republicans try to be in their agenda and opposition the Democrats go out of their fucking way to validate them.

I'm nettled.

They want everyone vaccinated and to get sick. They think itll curb the issue and nullify it into being the next flu
