Got accused by my boss of being racist cause I wrote a guy up for majorly breaking a rule and not the guy who was only every slightly breaking it to the point it was splitting hairs. What drove it home on the guy I wrote up was he got mouthy with me about it. I dropped the write up though cause he came and talked to me civilly later and apologized for being disrespectful I've actually never taken a write up back after it being submitted before. You kinda have to hope and catch the DO before you leave or stay after work to talk to her. She shows up barely before the end of my shift. So all and all a mixed bag. Didn't care for the accusation. Cause as said it was splitting hairs on the white dude if he was even breaking the rule or not cause our policies are writtenly vaguely enough it can be interpretered differently by different people But was happy the inmate came and had a respectful conversation with me and apologized which allowed me to swallow my pride and drop the write up. --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" I went and got Pizza in accordance with the hot topic of yesterday. They didn't have a to go menu printing though...regarding sides. I do have a pic of the slice.
