I literally had to Google Hillary's slogans, and they're all pretty shit:

Ready for change, ready to lead" Hillary Clinton campaign slogan, also "Big Challenges, Real Solutions: Time to Pick a President," "In to Win," "Working for Change, Working for You," and "The strength and experience to make change happen.

Same with Biden's "Build Back Better".

I mean, if you don't see all the obvious redflags with thinking America was better in more racist times.

I liked when it changed to Keep America Great despite nothing substantively changing. Trump is a con artist through and through.

Fascist slogans, like fascism itself, are at their most effective when they appeal to the lowest common demoninator. Its a lot harder to come up with pleasing anti-fascist slogans because its harder to put complex problem solving into easily digestible soundbites.

To be honest, "KAG" sounds like the sound you make while trying to cough up a chicken bone you accidentally swallowed.

It really isn't. It's just simple to say, makes sense as you wouldn't want to use big long words here.

Exactly. The problems with "Make America Great Again" are

• When was America great?
• When/how did it stop being great?
• How do you make it great again?

Pretty much all the answers involve racism in some manner...

It's a great slogan that worked so well. It was a big reason he won in 2016.

Reagan, and ironically enough, Bill Clinton, both used the slogan first

"America America Great Again" was super effective in rallying people. So was "Zeig Heil." I don't get appeals to bigotry credit for being effective. They're still appealing to the worst aspects of humanity.

No, I'm not demonizing Republicans as Nazis. I'm saying that MAGA is a racist rallying cry. The implication is that America was better before the Black man was president, that it was better in some unspecified period of yesteryear (i.e. the pre-Civil Rights 1950s), and that America could be restored to greatness. On paper, it's almost the same thing as Hitler's claim of having a Third Reich. Germany was a great before and would be again if they just got rid of all of the (Jewish) socialists.

Trump isn't as bad at Hitler, but his campaign was based off of appeals to bigotry. And Trump technically did commit genocide when his goon squad performed hysterectomies on detained border women and prevented them from having children in the future. We don't talk about that anymore though since the US government has done nothing to dissuade the practice since Biden became president. The people who were in cages under Trump's watch are still in cages under Biden's. (So, yeah. It's a real disappointment there.)

Long story short: MAGA is a racist appeal and I don't give it credit for being effective.
