Double-jump Air-dash Which would you rather be able to do? - Results (116 votes) Double-jump 53.45% (62 votes) 62 Air-dash 46.55% (54 votes) 54 The gained height of the double jump is the same as your regular jump (so it's effectively your regular jumping height doubled, particularly if you perform it at the apex of the first jump). The distance of the air-dash is equivalent to that of you doing a one-second sprint. I imagine this would be way worse if you jumped twice. You'd have to spend a lot of time mastering it to not throw yourself off balance and land funny. Average person vertical jump and hang time makes this extremely mediocre. Meanwhile, 1 second air dash can be kinda nuts. World record for 100 meter dash according to Google is 9.58 seconds, or a little over 30 feet per second. Even if all you could do is half that you'd still have a 15 foot air dash. Hell, even 25% of world record sprint would be a 7 foot horizontal dash. You could clear some pretty sizable gaps with that. I'd take it just for more fun while urban exploring.
