Nah. My first accidental shiny in Sword was a Stunky and I was like *sigh* because who wants a ass faced skunk as their first shiny? Then I got a shiny Magby while hatching eggs and sighed again because the game seemed keen on giving me shiny ass faced Pokemon. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Sword was my first Pokemon game, so I didn't really know what a shiny was, but like 6 months later I found I had a shiny Quilfish in my boxes that I apparently caught 5 months prior. I've gotten 2 shinies. Zapdos in leaf green resetting for a good nature (ended up being bold so respectable). And flabebe while breeding for perfect IVs in Y. It was in my first batch of 5 eggs so it's stats were kinda bad. Zapdos is a pretty awesome first shiny even if it isn't super noticeable.
