I always thought it was a joke ad on the South Park DVDs, never knew it was a real show lol

I enjoyed it, I used to do a podcast about shows with one season and we covered it.

Fun fact: it was one of the most expensive shows Comedy Central ever produced. It was like a million bucks for one episode (mostly went to the sets), which is why it never got a second season.

Fun fact #2: the studio audience isn't actually a live audience. I think it was just crew members or something, I can't remember the whole story but they're not an actual audience.

Yeah I remember it. I vaguely recall enjoying it, but its hard to say as I was wildly inebriated at that point of my life.

I think I remember that show. Didn't they blow up a (fake) cat at some point? I think they were trying to euthanise it but shenanigans ensued.

i remember them talking about it in an interview, they were developing two shows in the lead-up to the election. if gore had won, they'd have made a similarly low-effort show about him XD

I guess one good thing about Bush winning (or stealing) the election is that we might not of had Al Gore in South Park.

Yeah, there was a kid in the same year of school as I with the last name Bush when that show came out so we would joke around and say "that's my Bush!" to/around him.
