Were together over 3 years. gave him so many second chances and he still just kept lying and cheating on me. with random boys he was always adding on Snapchat and Facebook and who knows where else. couldnt take it anymore so last week packed up all of my stuff and me and my cat moved in my parents basement.

I wish he loved me. I loved him so much and did so much for him. I didnt want to be with anyone else. He hasnt said anything to me since I left. Hes probably glad its over.

Living at my parents is awful. Their internet is so fucking bad and doesnt even work a lot of the time might as well not even have it, and because they live in the middle of fuckin nowhere there arent any better options. And Im a grown ass 30 year old man living with his parents again its so embarrassing and sad. Oh and it adds another 30 min to my already hour long drive to work, making my total daily commute 3 hours.

Probably just going to be alone and depressed for a long ass time now, maybe forever. Thanks for listening CE

Thank you for your sentiment. My parents are kind people and dont seem to mind having me, especially since I work a lot and mostly stay out of their hair. Its just not anywhere close to an ideal situation

Do you have a good connection on your phone? You could try USB tethering or a mobile hotspot.

Phone connection isnt very good no. I have Verizon and I have heard T-Mobile might be slightly better but idk

The shame you have to live with by staying with your parents for a little while is nothing compared to the situation you were in. Don't regret your choice, look on the bright side and get back to living your life.

Save your money for a month or two being rent free and you'll be set to get your own place easy peasy.

Eat their food too, more savings.

it doesnt help that I dont have many friends to help take my mind off things. Most of my friends are also friends with him. Yesterday at 4pm one of those friends told me he would hit me up soon to do something, now its 6:30 in the morning the next day and he still never said anything.

Whatever you do don't give in and go back to him, he's not the person you see in those dreams and he doesn't respect you with his cheating

Living with a parent well into your 30's is increasingly common now. Just help out and try not to be dead weight and you have nothing to be ashamed of.

a long time ago he ghosted me for some unknown reason and said I was needy but I was just asking why he stopped responding. I called him out and was made shamed by the whole ideal and I just don't like the guy. He could have been upfront as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah me. Back when I first started posting on here after a really long hiatus a few years back, he started talking to me in like private messages on here and then eventually on discord. I dont remember how it started. I was really lonely at the time tho and didnt have any friends so at first I welcomed having someone to chat with. It didnt take long (probably literally only a week or two) before he started to creep me out and I soon realized that I really didnt like him at all, just that I needed someone to talk to and he really wasnt it for me. So yeah I kinda just stopped responding to him. Definitely couldve handled it better.

As I mentioned before, live in rural Tennessee, so jobs are another thing that are super limited around here. I drive an hour and a half because its one of the few jobs that pay a decent little bit above minimum wage (its still way too low tho)

So move? We're in the middle of one of the biggest labor shortages we've ever had. You can pretty much take your pick where to live. Go to nashville or memphis and get a hospitality job.

I remember you posted about this ex cheating before. Stay strong this time. It has nothing to do with you being unlovable. Nothing to do with you in any way. Some people are just cheating assholes that get off on the thrill. No one will ever be enough for them. Nothing wrong with staying with family while you get back on your feet either. Its a blessing to have the option. Many cant leave abusive relationships because they lack a safety net whatsoever. Im glad theyre there for you and hope you make it through things.
