I got the complete edition for cheap. Was wondering what other people thought about it.

Got it for free but never installed it. The first game's narrative and ending pissed me the fuck off forever.

Nemesis system was a great concept for its time though.

It gets repetitive but I enjoyed it.

I forget which one that is. The third person one that came out in like 2014 or something?

I can, the combat was more fun/streamlined in the first one. Being a straight up ripoff of Arkham games combat is much better than whatever they tried to expand to in Shadow, which is what just a lot of tedious fluff that doesn't help with battles being drawn out.

Despite Shadow being longer, it wasn't as fun as the first one. But also got it for free on ps plus so it's alright. I can't imagine actually buying it and experiencing all its flaws like that

I liked it a lot. The siege battles were great fun.

Its decent, I didnt have nearly as much fun with it as I always felt it should be. If that makes any sense.

Fun gameplay, took liberties with the lore. If you don't have a problem with that, it's a fine game.

First one is good; second one is also good. I like the combat in the first one a little more, though, as they made it harder to executions in the second game. The DLC where you play as that black (mortal) dude and you use dwarven gadgets is awesome, though. Loved that entire desert area, in fact.

Yeah, that DLC is great - surprisingly tricky compared to the main game, I thought.

It somehow managed to make me feel bad for the orcs

It's fun. The end is a grind, but slaughtering endless orcs is a blast so it kinda works. Nemesis system is cool.

The only orc I felt sorry for was (Shadow of War spoilers) the big "friendly" one who betrays you towards the end. I used the shaming (?) ability on him each time I saw him until he was LV1 and he could only say one phrase over and over, like "I'm sorry," etc.

I started it for like two or three hours and it just didnt capture me like the first one did. I dont know if its simply that I was burned out on the formula or if the game just lacked something.
