I got Shield, Let's Go Evee, and Home on the Switch. And Pokemon Go on the phone.

On the Home app on the switch I see Let's Go Evee and Shield. Not really sure what advantages of using home are though. I have really done no research into this and am just making a topic about it.

Do I have to connect my account I used for Pokemon Go with the switch Home app? Does it only connect with one switch account? Should I also get the Pokemon Home app on the phone?

Only if you want to transfer mons to/from Go.

Only if you want to transfer mons to/from Go, or plan on doing trading from your phone.

Just be aware you can't transfer mons to/from Go/Let's Go to/from Sword/Shield.

Know that it doesnt work on BDSP, either.

No.
You can transfer from Go to Let's Go and vice versa.
Or from Sword to Shield.
SwSh mons can't be used in Go and Go mons can't be used in SwSh.

Is playing Let's Go a good way to get good pokemon on Go? Haven't really played Let's Go much yet and on Go it is pretty hard because I live in the middle of no where so getting pokemon up is pretty slow.

Can I transfer Pokmon from Go to Shining Pearl?

IIRC you can transfer some Pokemon (as in, ones they actually programmed into Sw/Sh) from Let's Go to Sw/Sh, but you'll get a warning telling you that they can't be sent back to Let's Go once sent to Sw/Sh. Also if your Let's Go pokemon has any moves that aren't in Sw/Sh, they won't be transferable unless you delete the move.

I've since uninstalled the app from my Switch, so I haven't tried doing anything as far as transferring between Sw/Sh and BD/SP. I'd imagine the same thing applies, or at least there's some other restrictions.

Money

You cannot transfer from Home to Go, it's a one way trip.

You can transfer from home to SwSh if and only if you have that pokemon registered in the Dex.

BDSP support for home is said to be coming in a future update that includes the GWS. It will probably have the same restrictions along with only allowing the sinnoh national dex.

The Home shit is a fucking mess lol. Just do PKhex. It's what all the pros do. Also save money on not supporting GF who already has more than enough loyal fans.
