Im an hour into Sierra 117 and just got past the Jackal Sniper forest part. Really wouldnt be so bad if I had a HUD, thats definitely the worst skull by far. Using The Arbiter to attract aggro seems to be working so far lol. not sure what Im gonna do when I dont have him as my tank for some levels

Good luck on Cortana. Always hated that level.

Cortana on just legendary with no skulls is a shit show. gonna be a nightmare on LASO

I watched some YouTube videos on people doing all the old games on LASO, and it seemed like Halo CE: Truth and Reconciliation was the hardest level in the entire series on LASO

I always wanted to try it, but the thought of playing through Cortana is dreadful. Like you said, it's awful enough with no skulls on lol. I just know I'll make it through most of the level only to get killed in some infuriating way.

T&R was definitely a huge pain in the ass. Went into thinking it wouldnt be that bad but yeah it was grueling. If it werent for being able to despawn the group of enemies before the area with the grav lift as well as being able to hide behind a rock that for some reason they wont go past, I never would have gotten through that level

The room right after the grav lift looked extremely difficult too, w/ all the gold sword elites randomly spawning in different doors and ending with the two hunters

I always hated LASO runs, but I did them, just to say I did lol. Fog isn't that bad, imo. It's Iron and Black Eye that make levels a pain in the ass.

theres actually a pretty good way to do that part. essentially at the very beginning, theres that camo elite with a sword that comes thru a door. gotta kill him immediately and then run thru the door he came thru. from there you have to go to thru the hallways to a certain spot of the door opposite the one you came in from. that triggers more enemies to come in from other doors. You then go back thru the hallway to the original door you came in from and kinda just sit for a couple minutes. all of the enemies will eventually come thru the doors and pile into the center of the room. Once theyve all spawned you just toss some grenades into the room and cause a chain reaction of explosions (grunts explode when they die) and that usually kills off everybody

for the hunters you just gotta juke them and shoot them in the back once with a snipe

thankfully with the iron skull you can just save/quit right when you die so you dont have to restart from the beginning. it puts you at your last checkpoint. Still kind of annoying but better than restarting
