Oh boy...While i am of the opinion of "Fuck chomos!", shit like this can cause the dam to break, and bring more scrutiny to this. He got frustrated, and outed him knowing he had to cover his ass soon after.

Yea Ive seen this guy and hes annoying as fuck. I really hate the guys who are like I wont call the cops if you do x or call your yno idiot, call the cops. Thats just proof youre doing this for clout. Them calling a spouse or parent just gives you nice clickbait title. The guys who caught EDP are guilty of this as well as being huge pieces of shit. Ive seen a few on YouTube who do it the right way (like Mike Fox), but the vast majority are just a bunch of idiots who a) are looking for views and b) not only hurt potential police cases with their antics but also make it easier for the predator to continue doing what theyve been doing.

This kind of stuff makes me uncomfortable because the chances of getting it wrong are so high

I wish these morons would realize you don't need to coerce them to make them talk - they are perverts who were so thirsty they came late at night to hook up with a child - they are not thinking straight, and you can easily take advantage of that. One of these days something really bad is going to happen to one of them - not hoping, but this shit is inevitable if it hasn't happened already, and they never lived to upload the footage.

Edit: I take "moron" back as they still have my respect going after these sickos which does carry some risk - i just wish they were smarter about it, and not so much

Also on YouTube. Saying the word Predator or sexual predator, molester etc can get you demonetized. Which lends well to the idea that they care more about making money. So many of them have Patreons with exclusive content, a lot of the times including things like entire conversations the predator had with their spouse or whatever over the phone. What I hate about that too is they often force the pred to put it on speaker phone to make sure theyre really calling, but all that does is put an innocent person on blast on the internet during an extremely vulnerable time where theyre probably crying and upset. I dunno, man. It just rubs me the wrong way the way they do this. If they did it right like Chris Hansen did or whatever its one thing. This is just taking advantage of people (and sometimes not just the pred) for views.

Gotta agree here. Preventing crime and exposure is one thing but you can tell these people seeking attention are just trying to validate themselves.

This is exactly why I hate these channels. Literally all they are doing is helping these people be MORE CAREFUL for the future when their evidence can't be used. If you do not go through the appropriate channels to get these guys, they're just learning a lesson on how to be more careful in the future
