Just going by a rough estimate of how many videos of my attempts that I have deleted. I know it's over 200. Jesus fuck.

Last year, my resolution was to defeat Wizpig in Diddy Kong Racing. I sank about 13 hours into the game over a span of two and a half days. After two decades of him being the one that got away, I finally got my revenge.

Whatever it takes, it's worth it.

Thing is I'm on a time limit. I want to beat all the bosses in this game and Sekiro before Elden Ring releases. I was about one week ahead of schedule. I'm almost two weeks behind now thanks to this boss.

Definitely one of the hardest Souls bosses.

Keep at it! You can do it.

I never beat Midir in the next DLC.
He's pretty tough, but you just need to perfect your usage of your moments to attack him. If you get the timings down pretty well for when to "punish" him, you've got him.

Midir is a pain because the instinct is to get under him and attack, but that causes him to use his flame breath which does so much damage. Once you figure out you're supposed to stand in front of him, and always stay there, the fight is a cakewalk.

the camera is definitely terrible, cannot defend that for sure. if you stand right in front of him though, he doesnt do the fire attack and sometimes will do the dash attack. imo, thats way better than the alternative

Every other boss fight that I had trouble with, I got to a point where I figured out what I was doing wrong and got better at fighting them until I was good enough to pull off a win.

With Orphan of Kos, I just got fucking lucky after dying over and over. I didnt feel like I had learned anything.

Never went back to that fight in NG+.

That wasn't even the boss fight I died the most in, but it's definitely the one I have the least confidence in repeating.

Orphan of Kos was surprisingly easy for me, since I did it at the end of a platinum trophy run; spending so much time in the cursed chalice dungeons made the regular game seem trivial, since I was over leveled and stacked with awesome blood gems

That amygdala in the cursed dungeon though...that was the bane of my existence, hardest fight I've ever managed

That fight was extremely annoying, yes, :/ . I liked bringing in that NPC with the cannon to help get some staggers in.

Not a bad idea. I was doing an arcane + strength build, so I was using the holy moonlight sword beams to get in extra hits on the head. Took forever, but eventually paid off

Gonna resume after I get some Taco Bell breakfast.

I thought it worth mentioning that I haven't put ANY points into Vitality for this character, and I'm keeping my equip load at 70% or lower. Not using any rings to raise my equip load. So like 2 good hits from this boss can do me in.

I'm so inconsistent on this boss. Sometimes it seems her AI does the dumbest things and hands me the win. Other times, she does that invisible leap non-stop.

Then again, I only fight her now if I want to do the Ringed City DLC early.

Her 1st form is easy once you notice her patterns but then it gets extremely bullshitty after that, even with an NPC partner. And of fucking course co-op isn't allowed there either so you have to subject yourself to dying over and over and over x100 until you've seen every frame of her attacks. Fuck that fight.

Really? Dude is easy if you just maneuver away from his cursed skulls and shoot his staff. I do realize though Soulsborne is the only franchise where almost every boss is subjectively difficult or not.

I'm assuming we're talking about the cart Wizpig. Who did you use? I used heavy characters but noticed my acceleration with those were so poor that even one mistake basically meant it was over. I decided to go with the mouse (whatever her name is) and beat him in less than 10 tries. Never used her outside of Wizpig but for him it was way easier and a lot more forgiving.

If you're talking about the second race against him, I found that to be a lot easier than the cart race. Any character will suffice with enough practice.

Yeah, I dunno. Maybe I was just stuck in my way and this was the first time I got really challenged as to that way working. Can't remember what that was, but I can only imagine it was Ludwig's greatsword spam with little care to mixing up other forms/weapons. I think when I finally got him I switched to hunter's axe spin to win spam after seeing it knocking him down or something.

Dang I never bothered because a source said it wasn't possible to call in even while embered. I did try that weapon and stacked as many knives as possible for bleeding but I felt it was less difficult to attack long-range with the executioner's greatsword.

Ludwig's blade is definitely the most OP weapon in BB because of its high stat rapier-form and thrust bonus against arcane/celestial types. I was doing the same thing against him until I gave up and switched to the Saw Cleaver because it was faster against Logarius. Very tough and cool boss but he's beatable when you realize how wide open to attack his when he spawns skulls.

This was so hard that I literally devised my own quick kill on one of the phases of this fight. I would instantly lock on to Freide at the start of phase 2 and use a throwing knife. This causes her to jump towards you and you can sprint underneath her to get to the monster. When doing this he always uses his slow lava spill attack which lets you get behind him and annihilate the health bar while Freide is still on the other side of the map.

Nice. Always cool when you've just HAD it so the details in the subconscious part of your brain just say "fuck it, we're going to make this easy." Kind of like an adrenaline rush when you really need to get something done IRL and a lot of things suddenly click for you.

I think what helped on my last run was I ignored the bitch while she healed him, and just kept attacking him. Since I damaged faster than she healed, it was better than running off to hit her stationary ass while dude is running rampant every-fuckingwhere.
