Nah. Living creatures that can maintain flames in their throats and spew it seems like a literal impossibility given every living thing is predominantly made of water.

Why is it so important that the fires come from the mouth? Could there not be fire farting dragons? Napalm pissing dragons?

I know Taco Bell was founded in the 60's but horrible eating habits surely had to have existed before then.

Not necessarily.
Fossils being formed are a rarity themselves, and finding them is all to chance.

Not saying that they for sure existed, but not finding fossils of something shouldn't be used as definitive proof that it never existed imo
