There seems to be real hate for Paul being a fan and I honestly dont get it.

So just to be clear: he bought a sealed cardboard box with no way of opening it without ruining it's (potential) value? A box that was sold 8 months earlier for 2% of what he paid for it now?

It's like how the prices of sealed classic games have been selling for way more since the pandemic started. There's people with way too much money paying for stuff and paying overinflated amounts just to show off. Or else, the seller is potentially committing fraudulent activity in how they present and market the item.

When the original cards came out I was working for my future mother in law at Circle K and I was in charge of ordering everything. I ordered 8 boxes of them and bought 5 myself.

This is why tradeables and collectibles are a fucking scam. When I buy a video game, I buy it to play. I don't buy it because of its value. It's nice that I can get a good deal on an expensive game (I bought Threads of Fate for $35CAD + shipping in 2020, and now it goes for $70-$200 CAD).

Dude's a major attention whore. I don't trust this for a second and even if it is, oh well. Not like he can't spare the loss.
