Listen, man. Depressed people make the best art. You could make incredible music, paintings, stories, etc. You just have to give it a shot.

It's hard to be depressed and also productive for some people.

Why would I do this? I was once told I was good at writing stories but that doesn't mean I feel like creating anything. I've had other opportunities to expand other skills too but it doesn't make the world less of a pit.

Sometimes, having something to do helps. Maybe you could write a page a day of a story. There are famous authors who struggled with depression.

It doesn't help. However it does really give me ideas for stories in similar settings. There's just something beautiful about seeing the molded shell of civilization. To take the ashes and dust and reform it anew.

Are you asking about me? I feel like I have to prove myself. I feel like I have to prove others wrong about me. I want everyone to see that I can succeed.

Yeah. My entire outlook on life has changed. But I dont think theres any going back. Now it is a cycle of not doing anything because of depression and letting my life fall apart, thus further fueling it. Im in too deep.
