so one of the main reasons i didn't want to start a long game right now was because i knew Yugioh Master Duel is coming out soon (no concrete release date yet) and i didn't want to take the chance that i get really deep into that game and then end up dropping whichever game i'm currently in the middle of.

i was expecting like a late Feb or March release date but there's apparently some things that hint at it coming out sooner? we'll have to seeeeeeee

well i've done nothign but play and attempt to learn modern yugioh so far this weekend with master duel so it looks like Odyssey is going to have to wait rip

actually played more of Yugioh Link Evolution which was also on the list. i got it a coulple months(?) back to fuck around with

Master Duel's single player is a little lacking so i went back to this for a bit. not to say that this game's single player is any good. i mostly just use it to familiarize myself with cards/engines. the only problem with that is that you can't craft individual cards or enter codes like in the old games and you HAVE to pull them from packs.

just do everything FromSoft, Final fantasy tactics, hollow Knight, Ori, Celeste, super Metroid, shovel Knight, RE2,

throw the rest in the delete folder or up on eBay

just going through some campaign stuff on YGO link legacy.

i've been mostly playing through with a shoddy Agent deck for the most part. just using this to try out all the archetypes i missed out on. who knows if i'll actually finish the campaign mode though.

New to the list is Pokemon Legends Arceus. i've mostly kept blind about it but since it's a pokemon game i was going to put it on the list sooner or later.

i found out there was a Nintendo Direct and while i mostly don't care for newer games that are coming out, i figure this has the highest chance of having some things i would be interested in so i'll be glancing over it now

Results:
3 Houses Warriors - if this was an actual new FE game i would have put it on my list but no interest in this

Mario Strikers - messed around with the one on Gamecube for the first time not too long ago actually and it was fun for a bit. minimal interest but i can't imagine i would actually pick it up. not really digging the suit looks in this one either.

Splatoon - i really appreciate this series. it's fun and i love the idea behind it but never got too deep into it. i've had my fun with it and don't feel the need to revisit the series.

Disney Racing - depending on the character choices i could see myself trying this one out but chances of me sticking with it for longer than a day are pretty slim

Kirby Forgotten City - i knew about this from the first trailer a couple months(?) ago which piqued my initial interst but Mouthful Mode looks so hilarious that i will definitely look into checking this out

Klonoa - this is actually the most important game announcement for me in the last 5 or so years. i have been waiting so long for a Klonoa 2 port. hopefully it won't run like shit or i will have to find an alternative means of playing Klonoa 2 after all.

Portal - why does this look like such shit wtf lol. am i just imaging it? fucking switch ports man

Metroid Dread - dude Boss Rush is all i want from a Metroid game

EarthBound - holy shit. they actually did it. i played this for an hour or two on a *redacted* years ago but my hard drive died and i never bothered finishing it. it seemed like i would eventually grow bored of it though the actual story is fascinating. it's a "maybe" candidate for the list

Xenoblade - i have Xenoblade 2 on the current list but tbh i don't think i will enjoy it very much. no interest in this so far but of course may reconsider once i get to Xenoblade 2

finally got Judgment Dragon for Link Evolution which means i'm playing Lightsworn in the campaign baybeeeeeeee

built up a bunch of points intending to spend it on the Mermail pack

but ended up blowing it all on the Lightsworn one trying to get a second Judgment Dragon
