I stopped rolling here. I think we'll get a free Yunjin this update, so I'm satisfied with Yunjin C2 and I get the C1 she needs for dps right away.
I really wish I got Qiqi or at least Mona, coz Jean doesn't help any of my teams.

Immediately went and purchased Blackcliff Pole R3 for Xiao and gave Yunjin Favonius Lance R3. I guess these should work nicely for now until I luck out on the permanent banner someday.

Right but I was surfing the reddit earlier and apparently there's a rumour going around that a new set will come out soon custom made for Xiao.

It's not confirmed but interesting if true.

As far as I heard, he's EXTREMELY repetitive, but then again most characters are.
If you like plunging groups of enemies to death, he should be great, I suppose?

Mine is still low level coz I never really fight Primo Geovishap. I had some awesome gear already ready in my inventory coz I ran Shimenawa and Venerer dungeons a shit-ton of times

Thing is, I've gotten to the point where I have enough cracked DPS units that Ganyu probably isn't going to blow my mind. Noelle hits for 55k. C2 Itto deletes bosses. Tartaglia/Xiangling is fucking illegal.

Xiao just seems like a less useful/versatile Kazuha at this point. Can only take advantage of so many main DPS units, I'd say skip Xiao, unless you really like him for whatever reason.

Geo is so stupidly OP right now it's not even funny. It's almost hard to convince myself to use anything else, because *****ing Zhong/Noelle/Gorou/Albedo are an unkillable hyper DPS team

Did a few pulls on my secondary account for Shenhe since I figured I'd pair her with Ayaka and I was close to pity anyway. Pulled a Yunjin, a Chongyun, a Favonius Warbow and Keqing.

Did 17 pulls on my main account, starting at 16 pity, and lost yet another 50/50 to Diluc lol

I'm okay with this for three reasons: didn't have Diluc yet, also picked up Yunjin and now my pulls for Yae will be guaranteed.

BTW Itto's dialogue is fucking hilarious. He's basically a huge dork.

Got my C4 Gorou to near 80 with a pretty crappy but 100% DEF Husk set. He heals for about 1200 per tick, which is a far cry from Bennett, especially considering Bennett is far faster at recharging his ultimate. But overall, I do think he's better than Bennett specifically and only specifically for geo teams.

The nice thing about him, like Bennett and to some degree albedo, is that you can put absolute garbage on him and make him viable. But even better, his defense buff is a raw buff, not impacted by his stats. Considering how little extra damage he adds, you don't really need to invest much in him to get good returns. Just get his elemental skill as high as possible, and you're good to go.

Yeah, I'm collecting Qingxin bit by bit again, but I probably have enough of it to cover Xiao in inventory still.

Thank god Yunjin uses the flowers that no other characters of mine use, but flying wolf grinding is gonna be really annoying

Notice the ones in the northwest in particular, on the very top of the cliffs you can find like 2-4 flowers each and the flying Statue of Seven there also has a bunch of Qingxin right at the teleport

I probably have like 900 just from wandering the fuck around looking for other materials

I'm looking at the rotation for Shenhe and it's basically "You do this into this into that then do this as fast as you can then go into this for maximum damage" lol

High electro hit count, scales damage on elemental mastery, requires a team mate for constant skill hits, a team mate for constant burst hits, someone to gather and swirl, someone to restore her to 90 energy.

Well I pulled Xiao, C5 Keqing and two Yun Jins (C4) in 15 pulls. Question is whether I should save the hard pity or get C1. Is C1 absolutely necessary for viability?

Except he can actually put a punch thanks to his burst giving huge dmg bonus. Get the ATK from somewhere (PJWS) and some crits to 50/100, slam a shield, and he, maybe can be a good driver thanks to his nuts attack speed.

Got C1 Xiao with the first pull then decided to use the other 7 on Shenhe's banner since C2-C5 are worthless on Xiao and I pulled Shenhe on the very next pull.

Well I'm kind of happy that I got lucky with that back to back banner pull, it's kind of annoying that Shenhe, Xiao AND Ganyu all use the same ascension material. Fortunately, I fully collected all of Ganyu's ascension materials, but if I want to ascend Xiao I basically have to get 100ish more Qingxin by the time Ganyu releases and I fucking hate farming that shit. It's doable with those two, but then Shenhe came in as well

lv70 Xiao, lv60 Yunjin without pre-farming them.
I should lv80/90, 8/6/8 Xiao, I guess? Or is his lv90 a significant boost coz of swirl?

As for Yunjin, I think I'll lv80 6/6/6 her and decide from there.whether she is worth it or drags my teams down based on my tests and on expert player feedbacks.

I was worried the Golden Wolflord would be a bitch to grind, but Noelle C6, Kokomi, Raiden, Fischl actually tear it apart very quickly. Kokomi drags it into the second phase, Noelle quickly shatters the masks, and after it's dragged to the ground, Raiden shreds it to pieces.

I totally thought Yunjin would be a garbage-tier main dps (considering her kit) but potentially an amazing buffer.

Not sure about that. Even if you are only equipping DEF sands, isn't it still like 1k DEF (600 or more transferred)? That is more than Zhongli's A4 passive to his attacks.

And the fact that it can be boosted more depending on bonus dmg and crit makes her pretty good main dps and driver...not Zhongli physical good but can work.

If your fingers are quick you can make a sort of tag-team between Zhongli physical and Yun Jin.

I got Calamity Queller, and realized Rosaria and XL (my only spear users right now) can't even use the off field bonus since their bursts snapshot... at least it has massive base atk so should still be an improvement regardless.

I'm slowly coming to the realization that Staff of Homa is basically BiS on every spear user

I've never actually been in this situation before, but because of that crazy double pull I actually have a five star character I don't even know how to use (Shenhe). Who the hell wants to run a mono cryo team?

I hear she has physical resistance shred, but iirc with Raiden and Eula's E mechanics, I like very many enemies have any physical resistance left anyway

Unlike geo being pigeonholed into full/mostly geo team, cryo can at least use some Anemo characters as honorary cryo teammates. Shenhe quills can boost Kazuha/Venti /Sucrose/Traveler bursts as well.

I wonder if Chongyun infusions could be abused in some way
