Okay so I'm at an impasse here.
I have about 80 primos saved. I can spend 40 or 50 trying to get a couple Yun Jins with a small risk of pulling a five star (I'm due for a 50/50 but I'm at 0 pulls) on these banners, and then hold the rest for Ganyu (all of the characters on her banner I have at C6)

I don't really want to waste my gems, so if I go for Ganyu all of the pulls prior to the five star will be wasted.

You can just pick a Yunjin copy from the event and aim for her some other time if you don't want Shenhe. I want Gorou but can't risk pulling for Itto so I skipped him this time. Besides, it is harder to get a specific 4* along with their consts then a 5* tbh

I mean if I did this on either banner, I would do it on the Xiao banner because I actually do want him, although I don't like the fact that he's basically locked to C1 or higher in order to be viable

Meanwhile the rest of us have to wait until the evening

What bugs me is that Xiao looks fun as hell to play and Ganyu looks boring as shit, yet here I am saving my primos for Ganyu.

There's a topic on the ps4 Genshin board about that as well. Someone pointed out that it might be a faked mashup of Raiden and some character from Honkai, Herrscher of Thunder

looks to me like one of Raiden's friends from the past instead of Raiden or Mei

Ok I'm gonna do 50 out of the 71 summons I have saved on Xiao's banner since otherwise they'd be wasted on Ganyu's. If I get an early pity, great. If I get an early lost 50/50, even better. But if it goes to pity, I literally can't get anything useful on Ganyu's where at least on Xiao's I can get Yun Jin. I'd rather have Xiao than Shenhe as I'm already Cryo heavy as it is.

This is why I always pre-load.

I now play on my phone, PC, and PS4, so I have to download updates on all 3. My wife also has to update it on her phone.

Same. I have it on my laptop, my Z Fold 2 (which surprisingly plays the game really well despite Android's propensity to age like yogurt) and my PS5.

It makes me legit mad that it has controller support on iOS but not Android.

I only have a PS4 so thats not an option for me.

I will begin my 2.4 with 10 pull on standard banner.

Expecting nothing, but it would be great if a certain bow would make an appearance.

So basically Shenhe is a 5* cryo Gorou?

People talk about using Shenhe in a full cryo team, but I'd be kinda interested in seeing how she works with Kazuha, since the little cryo damage he can do himself would be amplified, and she also boosts plunge damage.

Mono Element must be a new push, if Gorou and the new abyss buffs are any indication

Got a few Yun Jins without hitting pity, and I'm done

The tips on loading screen:

Definitely Chasm update, most likely along with Yaoyao, another dendro character.

He's more or less confirmed as an eventual dendro character

Boy, Yun Jin's character trial is awful. What were they thinking putting two characters with zero energy regen and long cooldown together?

this is why I want them to make the character trial event permanent, where you can choose a group of trial characters freely

Got Shenhe in 74 pulls. Only one Yunjin because why not while I also got 4 popsicle boy consts.

Chongun is a character who I always want to build but never do. Which is weird because I have him at C6.

BTW Keqing's new costume is beautiful, geez

At least he will be C6 now so next time I pull him, he will be a intertwined fate supplier just like Xinqgiu and Xiangling.

I love the Keqing skin, I don't have her yet but I bought the skin

Keqing and Mona are my perpetual 50/50 spoilers. So much so that I've got a C6 Mona and C4 Keqing. Kinda crazy.

Holy shit as someone who saw so much Beijing Opera as a kid, it's weird seeing it again after all these years.

To those who have Shenhe, what are your thoughts? Is she Bennett tier or is she an average support like Kujou Sara?

Did the trial for Yunjin and Shenhe, the trials are 100% useless in every way possible.

Any feedback on Yunjin yet, or still too early? I need to know how hard her perfect counter will hit if I give her geo dmg & high crit balance gear with good DEF%.
Since Shenhe is completely pointless to me, I'm considering rolling Xiao's banner for Yunjin just so that I have Xiao's raw power available for emergencies if I end up losing my 50% to him.

Is it just me or does Shenhe have the biggest bazongas in the game? I thought all the characters have templated models? They can go through the trouble of adding differing voluptuous features but can't even be bothered to beefen up Itto's arms?

Also yah they can. Hu Tao side-by-side Xiangling is pretty noticeable.

She has Rosarias pre-nerf tiddies.

120 summons and i got c6 yunjin, qiqi, shenhe (within 10 summons of qiqi), and xiao

only had to buy one pack of 8080 gems this time. but i did spend half my starglitter for 50 extra summons

Yun Jin's mechanics seem like a solution in search of a problem

How many more off-field damage Geo characters do we need?

Then mix that with a Beidou-ish shield and a buff that is basically Jean's C2

The Genshin Impact ps4 board in a nutshell.

So to start the patch I did 10 pull on standard
Widsith x1, Fav Lance x1, Beidou C1, and Xiangling C4.

That last one is definitely the most needed one.
