I don't have a lot of faith for FFXVI either, since it seems to going for the medieval Souls aesthetic seemingly for the familiarity as opposed to new inspiration I'd get into FFXIV more if I didn't get cold sweats trying to play it on my PS5 with a controller --- Sometimes I say things and I'm not voice acting. ... Yeah asking someone to devote hundreds and hundreds of hours into a pretty generic MMO isnt the answer to a Final Fantasy itch. I mean, wanting the series to be better wouldn't change by playing one good game. A lot of people thought FF7 remake was great, but still are skeptical of modern FF in general.
