She made it a lot further than I expected. I started to somewhat regret my decision to save her over Kirby when a sudden wave of Zelda support came out of nowhere.

Rounding up our top 10, we have Princess Zelda! No one else in her series made the top half, and LoZ even had the title of losing its main protagonist Day 1. Her making the top 10 is really impressive. Also with Zelda being eliminated, we lose a Melee character for the first time since Marth who got 28th place.

We are down to 9! Who will be eliminated next?

I'll add some more flavor from the previous topic after I run a few errands.

10 saves tomorrow, and I'll be making a poll to see if we wanna play on NYD.

Also I'll have to make threads on my lunch break for the next four days, but I'll try to time them as close to 1:00 PM EST as possible.

Pyra: Imagine if you fought alongside me, and Mythra fought alongside Sheik.

Zelda: That would definitely make things interesting!

Pyra: I think it's totally awesome that we're the last two girls standing! You kick ass!

Zelda: Not as much as you!

Pyra: Us two girls should team up for sure!

Zelda: I'm so totally with it sister!

*Bowser and Piranha Plant see the two girls talking in the distance*

Bowser: Those two girls are going to be a really big hurdle. They're nearly inseparable.

Plant: Yeah, how do you suppose we go about them boss?

Bowser: Girls are uhhh... kinda tricky. You may get them, but they have something behind their sleeve to get you back... if you know what I mean.

Plant: I'm all too familiar with it.

Bowser: We need to upsize our alliance. Taking the two of them out might be difficult by ourselves, but with some help I think we can do it. Then once it's just our alliance, we take those guys out and it's just you and me!!

Plant: So who do you suppose that we recruit?

Bowser: I won't lie Plant, we need some more brains in this operation, besides myself of course. Then we need some people we can easily manipulate. The Fire Bros. will be our brains, and the two duos will be our puppets.

Plant: ...it's Fire Emblem. Fire Bro is one of your minions, you know, like me.

Bowser: Right... right.

*Bowser and Piranha Plant gather Banjo & Kazooie, Ice Climbers, Ike, and Robin*

Bowser: Uhhh... hello guys, I'm sure you're wondering why I brought you here.

Banjo: Yea! You got me really curious!

Bowser: Well.. you see... Pyra and Zelda.. they're getting awfully close. And if we don't take them out now, we'll never have the chance. So I say the six of us all join forces until we're the only six left!

Nana: That's a cool idea Bowser! Popo and I would love to join your alliance!

Ike: I do have to say, this is a pretty nice proposition you've laid out for us. Those girls are indeed dangerous, Snake is probably even MORE dangerous, and that mouse may be small... but it's EXTREMELY deadly.

Bowser: So are we all in agreeance?

Robin: Yes. I don't think anyone will see this coming.

Kazooie: Let's go!

Ike: I'll do it. For my friends.

Bowser: Great! Let's help each other out during the challenges, and aim to get one of those two girls out.

*Bowser and Plant exit the area leaving the other four there*

Popo: So... how do you guys feel about Bowser's offer... it's hard to say no to... but uh... I don't really trust him.

Robin: I definitely don't trust him either, but I think we should definitely go through with it for now until he starts acting shady.

Ike: I agree with Robin quite a bit. Bowser's definitely made himself a HUGE target by being so arrogant and pompous. But we need to use him as a shield to get us further and take him or Plant out when the time is right.

Banjo: That makes sense.

Ike: So we see how he behaves today and if he tries anything, we all go after him. Agreed?

Nana: Yes!!!

Then off in the distance two anonymous voices can be heard.

Anon 1: You've done a great job so far.

Anon 2: You too! Our alliance has worked out so perfectly.

Anon 1: We may have had some close calls between us, but we were there for each other 100%, and now we're here in the top 10.

Anon 2: I'm so glad you approached me Day 1! I think we can really pull this off!

Anon 1: Yes, we just need to play our cards right and not get caught in the middle of things. We can take these guys out all one by one.

Who could these voices possibly be?

The time has come for a new challenge. Basically it's a giant obstacle course laid out by Master Hand with lots of tricks and traps that will make it difficult for everyone to maneuver around. The final two to complete the course will have to compete in a death match. Those not in the match are welcome to aid or hinder either of the other two players and are invincible.

Everyone begins navigating the course and Bowser honors his word and assists the other five people in his alliance as best as he can. Plant is the first one through followed shortly by Ike. The two pairs help each other to safety and then Bowser himself makes it through. The next person through wasn't someone in the six. Snake navigates through the course to safety. Robin struggling to get through some obstacles is aided by Ike and is now safe. The final 3 unsafe are Pichu, Pyra, and Zelda.

Zelda has alliances with both Pichu and Pyra, but unfortunately, she's struggling hard with this course, and Pichu and Pyra have to look out for themselves.

The final character through the course is Pichu meaning it's going to be a battle of the babes!

Pyra: I can't believe it!!! We just made an alliance and now we have to fight each other!!!

Zelda: Everyone is so stupid. Bowser was obviously helping certain people. WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET OUT BOWSER, BUT NO, PEOPLE INSISTED WE GET OUT THE PINK PUFFBALL INSTEAD.

Pyra: I'm really sorry that it's come down to this. Well, best of luck girlfriend!

Pichu after barely making it through sees that his ally, Zelda, is in danger.

Pichu: I MUST HELP HER!!!!! I'M COMING FOR YOU ZELDA!!!

Pyra and Zelda hesitantly begin to battle each other for the title of last woman standing. Pyra definitely has the upper hand at first. She deals a fair amount of damage to Zelda. Things didn't look good for her. But then out of nowhere, Pyra feels some kind of an electric shock. In fact she felt it two or three times. They ended up being Thunder Jolts from Pichu!

Zelda: PICHU!!! I knew you'd come through!

Pichu: The best part is I won't take any damage! Let's finish her off Zelda!

So now that Zelda has an ally, things look pretty bad for Pyra. It's pretty difficult to win a 2v1. Zelda lands several attacks on Pyra and getting caught in Pichu's Thunder. Pyra was able to dodge a few blows and she even landed a pretty hard hit on Zelda that sent her flying, but not quite dead yet. Zelda is definitely hurting, but Pyra gets caught in another barrage of attacks from both Zelda and Pichu. Pyra is unsuccessfully able to land any hits.

But then out of nowhere something hits Zelda square in the chest that sends her flying once again. That something was a missile! She flew entirely off the screen to her death. The match is over! Pyra is the victor! But where did that missile come from?

*Snake enters the scene*

Snake: Scram, ya little mouse.

*Pichu runs away about as fast as one of his thunder attacks*

Snake: Hmph. You're welcome.

Pyra: OH MY GOSH!!! SNAKE!!! Y-you saved me... I didn't think you were interes--

Snake: You really make me regret my decisions.

Pyra: I promise Snake! I won't let you down again!

Snake: I highly doubt that.

...

A giant alliance has formed with Snake, Pyra, and Pichu on the outs. Will this alliance continue to dominate? Or will the underdogs rise up? That's up to you guys to decide tomorrow!

*Disclaimer: I'm aware that Nana and Kazooie are female and Robin has a female form too, but Pyra and Zelda were the only two characters that were exclusively female.*
