Three residents of The Villages have recently been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into voter fraud, court records show. Jay Ketcik, Joan Halstead and John Rider are each charged with casting more than one ballot in an election, a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Jay Ketcik: Voted by mail in Florida and by absentee ballot in Michigan Joan Halstead: Voted once in Florida and once by absentee ballot in New York John Rider: Voted in Florida and out-of-state in another unspecified state. The Villages is that same retirement neighborhood where a man was filmed riding a golf cart and shouting "white power."
