I'm sorry but if you are ordering during the holidays

where people have to work instead of being with family

So do you have some kind of proof that this happened in this case or are you just screaming incoherently for funsies?

I work for GrubHub and UberEATS full time. I always get a kick out of hearing of negative delivery stories. I easily do over 100 deliveries per week.

I really do question why people order on these delivery apps, but then this is how I make all of my money so I can't exactly complain. I always do my job honestly and I'm used to being treated like crap every now and then by customers, but more frequently by restaurants.

I could go on and on about the vast quality differences between restaurants. The restaurants and general establishments that complain about delivery app drivers tend to not have business models that work well with how delivery apps work. That is all it is. Like any restaurant that takes longer than 20 minutes to fulfill an order once receiving it just doesn't work that well for delivery apps.

Not to let these companies off the hook like Grubhub, UberEATs, Doordash, etc. but a lot of restaurants can be pretty damn awful too. I've easily experienced more than a lifetime of bad service from various restaurants and my sympathy for restaurants that deliver less than average service is less than zero.

I find the whole freelance delivery thing to be super sketchy personally.

What whiskey was it?
