If said racist aren't in any positions of power to affect me in any way, shape or form....I couldn't care less personally. I accept that people aren't going to like me in like for a multitude of reasons. Race being one of them.

And just like the rest of such people, I don't like them either and they can fuck off.

Tolerate and perpetuate are two different things. Not everyone can be bothered getting angry at everything all the time, some people would rather just brush it off and get on with their lives and let someone else do the getting angry. Most people who aren't racists themself but don't call it out either, know very well that someone else will, and often can't wait to see it happen - they just don't want to get into that conflict themselves.

This one has been given an especially huge amount of attention recently, but if you give it some thought, you'll likely realise that there are a lot of things that you're not okay with but just kinda sweep under the rug when it's someone else doing it. Losing your mind at every time everyone does something you aren't okay with - however justified your stance may be - just ends up with you becoming like [this username was censored at the request of a moderator or administrator, but we all know who I was going to say].

(And no, not claiming I'm perfect in this regard either. I very much can get overly worked up about shit at times.)
